Backpacks have become very common among young people nowadays, and they are also a hobby for us mountaineers. The market is even more dazzling, and canvas is made of materials such as nylon, Dillon, and cotton, which cannot avoid problems such as dirt and dirt during use. So how do we maintain and clean our canvas bags to reduce damage, discoloration, and prolong their use time?
First of all, when buying a backpack, there will be simple requirements and methods for cleaning, storage, texture, etc. on the hang tag and inner fabric label.
1. I can add a small amount of salt to the water to fully dissolve it. The water temperature should not be too high, just keep it warm by hand, and then soak the canvas bag in water for 15-30 minutes. This is effective in preventing fading.
2. Do not machine wash or mix wash during cleaning, as this will not easily deform the bag and avoid fading and affecting the original color of other clothes and bags
3. When selecting cleaning agents, pay special attention to the dosage, bleaching function, silver gloss agent, etc. Do not use a hard bristled brush to vigorously brush, as this may damage the surface of the canvas and cause fading.
4. When drying, there is no need to expose it to direct sunlight. This way, the water will evaporate quickly and leave marks, so there is no need to dry it after rinsing. If you want to hang it and dry it, you can do it
5. Replace the canvas after continuous use for a month, as it can absorb sweat or other dirt, and sweat can easily corrode the canvas and other fiber tissues. It is recommended to clean it at this time.
